  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. About File Scraper ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. File Scraper is a shareware program allowing to find files in accordance with 
  5. query. When a file match is found, it is displayed in the Files found list box. 
  6. You can process commands (such as COPY, ERASE, RENAME or other) against the 
  7. selected file.

  12. To search for a file:

  14.  1. Type a file name in the File name field.
  15.  You can use some templates selected by space.For example:

  17. *.exe *.obj
  18.  2. Select a drive to search. 
  19.  
  20. Note:  In unregistered copy only one drive is accessible. 
  21.  
  22.  3. Type a query in the Query text field.  4. Push DoIt button.  5. When the 
  23. search is finished, highlight a file from the    Files found list box. 
  24. Inqueriesyoucanuseexpressionincludingfilesize ,dateandtime 
  25. .Thefilesizeismeasuredinbytes .Forexample :

  30.   adate - Last access date (HPFS only!)
  31.   cdate - Create date (HPFS only!)
  32.   wdate - Last write date
  33.   today - Current date
  34. Example:

  40.   ctime - Create time (HPFS only!)

  43. Time is measured in seconds. Example:

  46. Also you can use logical operator and, or, not. For example:

  48.    cdate = today and size > 100000

  50.  You can use button Save to add the current query to the list. Push Delete 
  51. button to remove it from the list.

  56. You can process commands (such as COPY, ERASE, RENAME or more )  against the 
  57. selected file. Also you can save this list of selected files.

  62. The More dialog box is where you open a file by typing the file name in the 
  63. input box or using the Find button to find and execute the file.

  67. Use the Name list box to select action from list. You can add new actions by 
  68. pressing Save button. Press Delete button to delete current action.

  72. The Open Filename input box is where you enter the name of the file to execute. 
  73. Use Find button to find file you need.

  77. You can specify parameters for program. %l will be replaced by list of the file 
  78. names you selected. If you type %f as parameter, File Scraper saves file list 
  79. into file "fscrap.$$$". %f will be replaced by "fscrap.$$$". For example:
